Our methodology is designed around how children learn best: through curiosity, experience, and connection. Our approach combines academic excellence with methods that make learning meaningful and engaging. Every lesson, project, and activity is shaped to meet their needs, challenge their thinking, and spark their enthusiasm. At Escola Global International School, students lead their learning journey, guided by experienced and committed teachers who bring the curriculum to life with the aim of developing lifelong learners.
Our model offers students practical, interdisciplinary and creative learning experiences combining:
A Solid Academic Base at the Core
We follow the British curriculum, complemented by selected subjects from the Spanish curriculum, and prepare students for internationally recognised qualifications such as Cambridge IGCSEs and A-Levels.
Our results consistently exceed international averages. In the most recent IGCSEs, 88% of grades were A–C*, with 100% pass rates in English, Science, and Languages.
With this strong foundation, students are well-prepared for Sixth Form, university entry, and future success around the world.
Project-Based Learning (PBL)
Our curriculum is thematically organised, linking subjects through cross-curricular projects with a ‘driving question.’ Students collaborate, research, and present creative solutions to an audience, gaining interdisciplinary perspectives, critical thinking, research, and communication skills.
PBL begins in Early Years through play, evolving in complexity as students progress. While foundational in KS3 (Years 7-9), a gradual transition to a more exam-oriented approach occurs in KS4 (Years 10-11).
Our dynamic PBL programme flexibly incorporates the diverse skills and experiences that our teachers bring to our team, providing inspiring learning opportunities to our students.
Our Unique Enrichment Programme
We understand that learning happens all around us and much of it happens beyond the confines of the classroom. Our enrichment programme aims to extend learning and development through a range of activities and experiences that ensure that all our students have a rounded and culturally rich education.
Continuously evolving, students learn to connect with who they really are and where they want to go. They will deepen their understanding, find their voice and nurture their talents. It reflects our commitment to broadening perspectives and offering every child the chance to discover their difference.
Outdoor Learning
We believe in the power of Outdoor Learning to make education meaningful and connected to the real world. Our privileged location in Palma’s Parc Bit, surrounded by nature, gives students daily opportunities to explore, investigate, and learn while in direct contact with the natural environment.
By integrating Outdoor Learning into our programme, students experience active, dynamic lessons that improve understanding, build creativity, and spark curiosity. Time outdoors also supports wellbeing, develops resilience and teamwork, and fosters a lasting respect for the environment — helping children grow into adaptable, confident learners with a sustainable mindset.
